Tobias has written for television and magazines, including Rolling Stone, where he was an editor for four years. In 1999 he directed a documentary, "BALD."
He is currently developing a documentary about one of the “Persons of Interest” detainees who was deported to Palestine shortly after the film was completed.
Tobias is writing the screenplay adaptation of Martin Clark’s novel, "The Many Aspects of Mobile Home Live." He co-wrote “Not Iris” with Alison Maclean.
